With more than 55 exotic animal ambassadors, these sessions give kids (and curious adults) a chance to meet reptiles, birds, mammals, and more in an intimate educational setting just minutes from Destin.</p><p>Sessions are held Monday, Wednesday, and Friday throughout the summer at 11am and 1pm (Fridays at 1pm only), making Creature Features one of the most flexible family activities on the Emerald Coast. Whether your kids are fascinated by snakes, owls, or tropical critters, the science center's animal ambassadors offer a genuinely memorable experience beyond the beach.</p><p>At just $15 per person, Creature Features is an affordable addition to any Destin/Fort Walton Beach vacation — and a fantastic rainy-day option when the Gulf breezes turn cloudy. The science center is just minutes from Destin and offers plenty more exhibits and interactive experiences to explore before or after your creature encounter.</p>
