Looking for a fun, active evening that's a little different from the beach? The Niceville Sunset Stampede 5K delivers a glowing good time! On Saturday, July 25, 2026, runners and walkers of all ages descend on Northwest Florida State College for a neon-themed sunset race that's equal parts community celebration and fitness event. Every registered participant receives glow necklaces, bracelets, and sweatbands, so by the time the 5K starts at 7:30 PM, the course positively shimmers.
Younger participants can join the 1-Mile Fun Run at 6:30 PM for a less intense but equally festive warm-up lap. Awards are presented for Overall Male and Female finishers as well as age group winners, and the event is proudly dog and stroller friendly — the whole crew is welcome. All proceeds support the Niceville High School Boys & Girls Cross Country Teams, meaning your entry fee goes directly back to the local community.
