About this event
On the morning of September 20, 2026, Western Lake at Grayton Beach becomes the serene setting for Paddle for Peace — an intentional community paddle organized by Gulf Therapy and Adventure 30A. This uplifting event blends the beauty of 30A's rare coastal dune lakes with a spirit of mindfulness, connection, and healing.
Arrivals begin at 8:30 AM, with an opening ceremony at 9:00 AM setting an intention for the morning. At 9:30 AM, paddlers launch onto the shimmering waters of Western Lake for a peaceful group paddle. Kayaks and paddleboards are the vessels; calm reflection is the destination. From 10 AM through 3 PM, the beach comes alive with live music and community gathering.
Gulf Therapy uses coastal nature experiences to support mental health and community wellness on the Emerald Coast. Paddle for Peace is both a fundraiser and a celebration of what the water does for the soul. All skill levels are welcome — this isn't a race, it's a journey. Rental paddleboards and kayaks are available through Adventure 30A nearby.
